Lord, You are my refuge and strength and a very present help in trouble. Therefore I will not fear, even though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried to the midst of the sea (Psalm 46:1-2). Protect me from plans of evil people, and keep me from sudden danger. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me! For my soul trusts in You; and in the shadow of Your wings. I will make my refuge (Psalm 57:1). Thank You that I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety (Psalm4:8). Thank You for Your promises of protection.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2
